You may notice a new look on your favorite products, but rest assured, what’s inside hasn’t changed.

At Fluent, we pride ourselves on carrying products that are rooted in science, deliver consistent results, and earn the trust of both clients and professionals. That’s why we’re excited to share an update from one of our most-loved brands: Jan Marini Skin Research is now Marini Skin Solutions.

What’s Changing?
As part of this rebrand, you’ll begin to see a refreshed packaging design: Iconic silver bottles, droppers, and jars will gradually transition to serene, modern greens. Pump bottles will replace some jars and droppers for improved hygiene and ease of use. The new look is sleek, functional, and thoughtfully designed for your everyday routine

Introducing the XC (Extra Concentrated) Line

Alongside the rebrand, many professional-grade products that were previously labeled under the MD  umbrella are now being transitioned to a new naming structure: XC - Extra Concentrated.

So what does XC mean?

• XC denotes higher concentrations of key actives where formulation allows — meaning enhanced performance where appropriate. For example, the Duality™ XC product delivers potent benzoyl peroxide alongside retinol and peptides to address both acne and signs of aging in one powerhouse formula. 

• Though not every product will use the XC label, those that do are formulated for more intensive results — ideal for clients who need targeted, high-performance skincare. 

• The “Extra Concentrated” designation simply signals strength and efficacy while still maintaining the brand’s safety, stability, and skin compatibility.

In short: XC is the new way Marini SkinSolutions communicates products that were once part of the MD category — now updated to be more intuitive for consumers and estheticians alike without sacrificing results.

Whether it’s in a silver jar or a green bottle, it’s the same trusted product, same clinical performance, and same commitment to your skin health.

When Will You See the New Packaging?
We’re beginning to receive the updated packaging now, and you may see both versions on our shelves for a limited time as the transition rolls out. Rest assured, if you receive a product in either version—silver or green—it’s authentic, effective, and backed by the Marini legacy.
